I suffered a talus fracture 3 years ago and am still in excruciating

Customer Question

I suffered a talus fracture 3 years ago and am still in excruciating pain. I work on my feet 12 hrs a day at least 6 days a week. I wear 20-30mm compression socks and an inversion brace. I have no cartilage left. Both bones above the joint were fractured and one leg bone was split in half. I've had 6 screws removed and 2 pins remain. I've been on Fentanyl 50mcg patches with Norco 10mg bid for break through, norco 10mg qid, oxycontin er 10mg bid (it's only lasting 6 hours) with Norco 10mg bid for break through. I'm at my wits end. I have had no relief. I had one screw removed with just a local. I know I have a pain tolerance. I was told I was a fast acetylator, because the lidocaine wore off before the screw was even half way removed. I know I'm headed for stem cell injections or an ankle replacement. What can I tell my pain management physician to help me?

What is it you would like your pain management doctor to do that she is not already doing?
