Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.
dilantin levels are checked with phenytoin blood levels in the blood
the lab could have mixed up the vials of blood.
keppra is not tested for in the blood
ask your doctor to check dilantin again in the blood
if you are taking it, the levels should not be zero.
get a copy of your blood test results.
I would be happy to review it with you.

Hi there,

I have different opinion.

Yes it is possible to have zero with one of the results likely keppra.

Keppra and dilantin interact with each other.

Dilantin can cause faster metabolism of keppra.

And if the level was taken about 8 hours after the last dose, then the level may not be detectable.

If you do not have any seizures, then this may not be important.

But if you had seizure, then that means the dose needs to be increased after discussing with your neurologist.

Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
