Is there a natural way to regenerate my bone marrow to

Customer Question

Hi Doctor, Is there a natural way to regenerate my bone marrow to produce RB cells. I have been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome but I am healthy in every other way - all organs ok and functioning well so far, no high BP but I have low BP. This condition was finally diagnosed yesterday 24/07/2015.
Is there anything I can do to help myself and the doctors to kick start my bone marrow. By the way, my WB and Platelets cells are not affected so far.
I would greatly appreciate your advice.
With thanks

Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.
I am sorry you were diagnosed with MDS
there is really no natural or over the counter way to regenerate bone marrow to make red blood cells.
some patients benefit from procrit therapy which is epoetin alfa which was developed to mimick your own body's erythropoetin which stimulates your bone marrow
there are also treatments for MDS such as Velcade which can help
have you consulted with a medical oncologist to talk about these treatments?
