Customer Question

I think I may have a candida overgrowth, food allergies and sensitivities. I get a pin prick sensation in my right tonsil or maybe just the right side of the throat, then turn red, break out in hives, throbbing in my ears, sometimes cramps in my stomach, and or a pain in my right ovary area. Its been happening a lot more frequently. I often feel fatigue, depression, and just blah. Sometimes I feel foggy and have trouble deciding.I think I hold more water in my tissues than I should and sometimes I'm very bloated.
I have n appointment to visit a general doctor tomorrow but i have medi-cal which I image won't cover much in the way of fancy tests. Do you have any tips?

How tall are you? How much do you weigh? Any weight changes? Does anything make then better or worse? When did they start? Are they consistent? Are they getting worse? Are you aware of anything which might have bought them on? Is your stress at home or work increased just before your symptoms? Any medical problems? Any surgeries? Any medications including over-the-counter pills and herbs? Any family medical history?

I am 5'9 And 165 lbs. I never feel like the reactions are brought on by my stress. They always feel food related. My weight goes up or down 10lbs depending on how clean my diet is. I seem to more reactive lately.. Which is why I wondered about candida, leaky gut, and allergies. Over the last few years I can eat something, say from a restaurant and not react.. Then have that exact same meal a month later and react violently. Sometimes my hive reactions won't happen for a month and then happen either on a random day or happen frequently for a week. It always happens during a meal or just as I am nearly finished with a meal. I don't take prescriptions but I sometimes take herbal colon formulas or vitamins but I haven't felt these things to be connected. I believe my mother also has food sensitivities with symptoms of food cravings, fatigue, migraines and irritability.

Taking Benadryl helps. I often take the children's liquid formula so I don't get too drowsy.

You could have celiac disease although your symptoms are not typical. There is a blood test for it. If the test is expensive, you may not take it. The treatment is gluten-free diet. You should try it to see if your symptoms are improved or not.

You can buy gluten-free foods from Trader Joe's.

These responses are terrible and not very informative.
