Have just recently given birth 5 weeks ago. My blood work

Customer Question

Have just recently given birth 5 weeks ago. My blood work shows an increased calcium level of 2.89 and a low parathyroid of <1.0. My ferritin levels have also increased from 8 (taken month before delivery) to 48.
My gp doesn't know what else to test and has referred me to a specialist however the wait time is over a month.
What could be the causes and are there any other tests you can recommend my gp run whilst waiting for the specialist appointment?
