Customer Question

I need a prescription for Viagra (100 mg). My physician is a family member, so I don't feel comfortable asking them for one. I have BC/BS health insurance.

I am not sure what your medical question for us is

Can you give a script for Viagra ?
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 2 years ago.
that would be quite illegal.
Any new script in the US MUST be the result of an examination and a physician patient relationship.
Having a doctor who is a family member is problematic, as you see from your situation.
In addition, viagra is not a safe drug, and must be used under supervision medically.
Make sense?

So this site was a waste of my time !! since you do not do online prescriptions.
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 2 years ago.
This is a question and answer site, and we make that very clear up front.
In fact, you are not likely to get a prescription online.
Telemedicine is limited to states where the doctor in question has a license, and to follow up prescriptions, usually when the patient has been seen.
There are sites that advertise providing refills, but the average cost from my investigations is 400 dollars plus, for the session.
If your current doctor is not adequate...who has been giving you prescriptions for 10 years...why not use them?
