hi doc, i woke uo in the morning and itches all over my body. i suspected i was bitten by an insect so i got benadryl.the itches are gone but my tongue is swollen. am only allergic to sulphur,pls advice

Swollen tongue indicates that you have angioedema which is also a form of allergy.
So most likely, the swollen tongue in your case is another symptom of the allergy that you experienced.
You may require a short course of steroids for your swollen tongue if it has not improved with benadryl like you state.
You need to be seen for this by a doctor, preferably in the ER to evaluate your fully.
It could have been an insect that bit you or it could be a new soap that you used or a new detergent perfume or anything.
You need to identify what you are allergic to and avoid that in future.
