Which is more accurate Quantitative Chemiluminescent

Customer Question

which is more accurate Quantitative Chemiluminescent Immunoassay vs elisa kit CA 27-29

When I had my last bloodwork done I was told the way they test it is different than how we test it, but the results should be very close.
These are my markers and obviously I am concerned about my most recent result.
My markers
11/13/14 21
3/3/15 25
5/12/15 34
06/5/15 54.6One test was done at Dana Farber Milford and another at Dana Farber Boston

Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, Experienced Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
Quantitative chemiluminescent immunoassay is more accurate.
THis is more sensitive as well.
In the immunoassay, small granule diameters and larger surface area, promotes accelerated mass transport.
This results in shortened incubation time and catalytic reaction.
This increases the efficiency compared to conventional elisa kit.
Yes your levels have increased.
That should warrant further testing --a PET scan at least.
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us today. If you have any additional questions or need further clarifications, please do not hesitate to ask. I am here to answer them. I wish you good health. Regards, ***** *****
