Customer Question

I have been taking 324mg. Ferrous Gluconate daily for several months. My GP suggested it a year ago or more. I stopped taking it some time age. I have been using it again for a few months because I was feeling tired all the time, and since I had used it in the past.
I moved and have a new GP who is unaware. I feel disoriented, confused, off balance have difficulty talking at times. Is this a symptom of overdose? I am 84 and otherwise in good health, with mild kidney failure and mild COPD.

Iron can cause inflammation.
If you have inflammation from another source, such as autoimmune disease.....iron can make it worse.
Go see your doctor.
If you are very anemic, iron will not help quickly, and you could continue to become more anemic if not iron deficiency, but some other cause.
Go see your doctor immediately.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
