Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, Experienced Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
First of all we need to ascertain the cause for your abnormal values.
These values suggest you may have mild kidney disease ( GFR 60 and stage 2)
Dehydration can cause this commonly.
Other causes include diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune disorder etc.
Hence, further evaluation is required if your values are not improving with repeated testing.
Kidney ultrasound, autoimmune antibody panel and a kidney specialist consultation are recommended.
You can try gatorade which has sodium in it to hydrate yourself.
Gatorade will maintain your sodium level as well.
Avoid just water as water only can cause low sodium.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
