Hello from JustAnswer.
Which medicines did you take for blood pressure and sleep?
Expert:  Dr. D. Love replied 2 years ago.
I had asked for some additional information and have not heard back.
The burping could simply have cause the burning because of acid from the stomach irritating the throat. From that perspective, using a liquid antacid can provide relief of acid irritation of the throat.
However, whether there would be any issue related to the medicines, themselves, would depend upon the medicines that were taken, which is why I have requested the additional information.
If I can provide any further information, please let me know.
