Do you have a recommendation to treat osteoporosis

Do you have a recommendation to treat osteoporosis naturally?
Hello. I'm Dr. Phil, licensed and practicing Internal Medicine Physician. Excellent service is my goal.
Thanks for this excellent question
Are you concerned about medications for it?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I am aware of medications such as Fosamax but I'm wondering if there is something naturally that will rebuild bones. I've seen such sites as that say bones can be rebuilt naturally. Are you aware of such treatments?

Thanks for this reply Dorothy
Yes, I am aware of this.
The only "natural" treatment that is proven to help is weight bearing exercise.
I recommend yoga or pilates for this.
Calcium doesn't help. And it can be bad for your heart.
Really the best treatment is the the class of drugs to which fosamax belongs. If these are used short term, side effects are rare.
Also, there is no evidence that these natural treatments work. I have researched them thoroughly and there are a lot of claims with little to no scientific evidence.
I would go with the safe, tried and true method.
I hope this helps. If you have more questions, just reply. :)
