I have pain in my abdomen on the right side in between my hip bones but close to my crotch.... That pain can extend to back pains and it is throbbing in nature...
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Hi there. Thank you for your question. I will be helping you out with your queries

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Since how long are you having this current episode of pain?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Do you have any other medical problems?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Are you on any medications for anything?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Please let me know.

Customer: Off and on for about a month but several times daily
Customer: No medications
Customer: No other medical conditions that I know of
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Is the painful area tender to touch?

Customer: No it's internal and not tender to external touching.... I would swear something is growing inside me if it weren't for the negative tests years back
Dr. Shahzad MD :

When was the last time you were tested?

Customer: 6 years ago approximately
Dr. Shahzad MD :

I personally think that although this may be related to the previous episodes of pain that you are having this could be something unrelated as well.
I would also like that you should have a test that is called as prophobilinogen in the urine done to make sure to rule out a condition called as acute intermittent porphyria.

Customer: I had Bloodwork done 3 months ago randomly and everything seemed ok
Dr. Shahzad MD :

I do not think that blood work up will show anything.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You will require imaging studies like a CT scan and probably a prophobilinogen test of the urine as well to rule out conditions. We have to think out of the box in your case because all the common causes have been ruled out with testing so we have to think of something that has not been tested for

Customer: Is there any organ located that low in your abdomen?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Its mostly the intestine. There is urinary bladder.

Dr. Shahzad MD :

There are lymph nodes which can cause such pain.

Customer: Sounds like a plan... I wil get on that tomorrow ... Thanks
Dr. Shahzad MD :

You are most welcome

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Take care
