Maybe I'm paranoid ....but I was exposed to probably lead paint dust for about an hour. I know I breathed some in. I have no symptoms but am really worried I've ruined my lungs.
Am I being irrational?
Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.

breathing in some lead pain dust won't ruin your lungs.

you can get blood testing to check for lead levels in your blood to make sure they are not too high.

your lungs are strong and if you don't smoke, your lungs will recover from breathing in some lead dust

don't let your worries get the better of you

do you smoke?

let me know if you have other questions.

Thank you

I used to smoke no more than 2 to 3 cigarettes a day but I have not done that in at least 6 years

I'm glad you quit
As soon as you quit your lungs start to heal themselves
And your lungs will heal themselves from this exposure of lead paint dust
Don't let it worry you
Exercise and cardio workouts also strengthen your lungs as well
