Is a raised body temperature 98.7 to 99.4 for several days, with no other symptoms but tiredness and eyes burning an initial sign of hiv?
The temperature that you describe is actually considered normal. While you often see the "normal" temperature listed as 98.6, the normal temperature is actually a range. Generally, a fever is described as a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees.

Even a temperature greater than 100.4 is VERY VERY non-specific. There are dozens of other causes for low-grade fever.

If you are concerned that you have been exposed to HIV, you should of course see your physician to get testing done.
