Hi there,
I am Mysticdoc, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to help you with your concerns.
Severe acid reflux can be caused by the peptic ulcer disease.
Also h pylori infection is possible.
Thee two conditions should be checked by the upper GI endoscopy.
Gallbladder disease also can cause similar symptoms.
Numbness and tingling can be caused by the vitamin B12 deficiency which can be seen with severe acid reflux.
Pernicious anemia is one such condition due to the gastric lining atrophy.
There can be other possibilities like thyroid gland disorder, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder.
Hence, these possibilities should be ruled out before blaming it on stress.
Best wishes
