Welcome to JustAnswer!
Thanks for your question. Please provide me the following information so that I can address your concern appropriately.

How long are you having this pain? Is the pain located under your right ribs or below it? Do you get pain when you press in those areas? What is the nature of pain... burning/sharp/dull etc? Is there any relation with food or bending/activities?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I have the pain for about 8 - 12 weeks. It comes & goes. There is some soreness when I push against my side, just under my ribs. The pain is not that sore but it is of a dull nature. I have not noticed any difference after eating, I do tend to sit alot as I work in an office & drive alot and I suppose it seems to happen after or during these times
How severe is your breathing problem? is it getting worse? Any cough, jaundice, fever, nausea, tiredness?
Did they do liver function test and x ray chest?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Not bad, only every so often I would be a little short of breath & no its not getting any worse. No cough, jaundice, fever or nausea. I am quite tire but that's probably down to my long day.

They did no liver function test or x-ray on my chest. They did comment that my liver looked fine after the ultrasound.

Thank your for the information.
Based on your description, it seems like you are experiencing pain in right upper abdomen along with mild shortness of breath. Although you do not have any other symptoms at this time but still I recommend getting liver function test and x ray chest to rule out problems in liver or base of lung. It is also quite possible to have pain in that area from gall bladder issues. If everything is ruled out, then the likely possibility would be musculoskeletal/costochondritis which can present like this. Thus my suggestion is to go for a few more test before concluding it as a musculoskeletal/costochondritis. In the meantime, avoid pressure in that area, take rest, and use heating pad. In needed, you can take OTC pain meds.
