Dr. Shahzad MD :

Customer: Days

Customer: Im on lexapro but been on that for about 8 months
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Have you experienced any fever?

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Sore throat?

Customer: I have recently been to a surgeon about polyps in bowl but other then that healthy
Customer: Nope no fever or sore throat
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Have you had a thyroid function test recently or in the past?

Customer: No
Customer: I dot know if it's worth mentioning but my period is late but not having any pregnancy symptoms
Dr. Shahzad MD :

With your feeling of cold and shaky in your legs and weakness, it does seem likely that you have some sort of a viral infection that is causing your symptoms

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You should try drinking warm fluids, take analgesics like tylenol two tablets as required three to four times a day

Dr. Shahzad MD :

I think that your symptoms should settle in due course of time as the viral infection takes care of itself

Customer: But I don't feel sick?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Sometimes viral infections can present with minimal symptoms

Dr. Shahzad MD :

and they just go away in a few days time

Dr. Shahzad MD :

If your symptoms persist I would like that you should have your thyroid function checked

Dr. Shahzad MD :

because a low functioning thyroid can cause one to feel cold like you are doing.

Customer: Ok but shakey and cold and confused is nothing to worry about?
Customer: Nothing serious?
Dr. Shahzad MD :

It does not sound like anything serious

Customer: Ok thank you, XXXXX XXXXX how I go in a few days if I still feel not normal I'll go see my gp
Dr. Shahzad MD :

Yes that is the right way to go about it

Dr. Shahzad MD :

You are most welcome

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Hope you get well soon

Dr. Shahzad MD :

Take care
