Have Medical Questions? Ask a Doctor Online!
While they are both the same drug I think you should go back to the pharmacy and point out that you are to have the nasal spray and were given the ointment by mistake. Since it was their error they should credit you for any price difference and give you the spray.
Does this make sense to you?
I would not recommend using one formula in place of the other. The nasal spray is designed to get deep inside your nose which the ointment wouldn't be able to do.
Is there anything else you would like to ask me?
