Welcome to justanswer and thank you for your question
Well, the normal range for blood pressure is-
Systolic should be Less than 120 and Diastolic Less than 80.
Pre-hypertension stage occur when Systolic is between 120–139 and Diastolic between 80–89.
High blood pressure consists of 2 stages-
Stage 1- Systolic between 140–159 and Diastolic between 90–99
Stage-2- Systolic 160 or higher and Diastolic 100 or higher.
Your blood pressure reading lies in stage 2 and should be further monitored and treated by your doctor.
High blood pressure ,when it is left untreated can lead to
thickening of the walls of blood vessels and also makes them more likely to develop hardening of the arteries called as atherosclerosis.
When these things occur, people are at risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney failure. You will be given instant medications, or injections to control the blood pressure.
Considering your age, Lipid profile test, Renal function test, Blood pressure monitoring and EKG should be done.
Please do not delay and get it treated urgently from your doctor.
Good luck and take care.
