Dear customer,

Tha pain before defecation may be due to some common causes like constipation, anal fissures, proctitis, etc.

The most common cause is constipation which should be treated first. The dietary intake of fibres, more of water, raw fruits and vegetables in diet is helpful in symptoms. The drugs like bisacodyl may be used if the symptoms are severe.

If the problem persist then you may need to have the sonography of lower abdomen and colnoscopy after consulting the gastroenterologist to know the underlying etiology.

The treatment depends on the underlying cause. The other causes should also be ruled out.

Let me know if you have any doubt.

Thank you
