What would you like to know?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

I would like to know what the rattling noise is when I fall asleep and how to treat it. I do have allergies and some congestion. I try to keep my throat moist at night as well.

Do you have nasal stuffiness?
Are you obese?
Do you have acid reflux symptoms?
Do you have shortness of breath?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Yes to nasal stuffiness, not obese. No to acid reflux. A little shortness of breath when exercising. It sounds kind of raspy and if I cough I clear the noise.

Expert:  RK replied 5 years ago.

You probably are having allergic rhinitis/ sinusitis with post nasal drip.
Drip plenty of water.
Instill saline drops in your nostrils to clear nasal stuffiness.
Take decongestants like sudafed and mucolytics to clear the airway.
