Thanks for using just answer.

Are these densities seen on CT scan or MRI scan?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Neither, just an xray of my abdomen. I went in for a sinus infection and some soreness on my lower right side and they took an xray. It came back that I am constipated let the doctor's office and received a call saying the radiologist looked at the xray and said I had sclerotic densities in my iliac bone (pelvic bone?)
I am 55 post menopausal and have sarcoidosis. I am also caucasion.

Ok and thanks for your input.

Sclerotic bone densities means areas of hardness or thickening within a bone. These bone densities appear more bright and white then rest of the bone area. There are various causes of such bone densities like chronic osteomylitis ( bone infection), excessive vitamin D intake, tumors, infarcts of bony area etc. In my view one should be concern for such finding on x ray and exact cause should be look for and then manage accordingly.
