Which lotion did you try?

How large is the area?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

The lotion was just a moisturizer. I think aveeno.

the area is about one or two inches in diameter. It has small pimple like bumps all along it. And there is some hair thinning going on near the area. Not sure if it's related.

Thank you for the information.

There can be a few possibilities.

This can be due to dermatitis like seborrheic dermatitis , fungal infection of scalp.

Fungal infection can cause hair loss.

Bumps can be due to a bacterial superinfection too from itching.

I would advise to have an examination by doctor.

Hydrocortisone cream can help in case of dermatitis.

For fungal one, lotrimin/ lamisil creams can help.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.
