pinching' feeling under right rib cage, have been told that I have 'fatty'liver, drink alcohol about twice a month maybe 2/3 drinks on those occasions. little or no caffeine. take milk thistle daily.

Are your liver enzymes elevated? How was the diagnosis of fatty liver made?

last bloodwork I had was in june, platelets were low, sodium also ,neither dr. mentioned liver, several yrs age (2or3) had ultrasound, a nurse said I had fatty liver, to avoid alcohol and caffeine, rarely use caffeine, drink 2or 3 drinks on rare occaisions

Well, it doesn't sound like you have any liver problems at present, since you don't seem to have any of the symptoms. I would assume your doctor has checked liver enzymes before. Fatty infiltration of the liver doesn't usually cause liver problems.
