This simply means a narrowing from inflammation and some scarring from the diverticular disease.
The significance depends on how narrow.
If it is hard to get the scope through it then there is some risk of cancer being hidden in that area.
If not, then there is no surgery that needs to be done.
If so, then the section should be removed.
If it is narrow and no cancer is suspected but it is causing symptoms, a stent can be considered.
I would discuss these points with a GI doc.
