We have to figure out the cause of your low sodium.
In most cases drinking a lot of water makes low sodium worse.
if you were on the wrong diuretic this is one of the few situations that you might have a low sodium and not enough water.
But once you are ok, you should drink when thirsty
Coke has some sodium content and is very acidic but it is not great in the low run.
V8 veggie juice, just one glass a day, has lots of sodium and other minerals at the same time so that you do not become imbalanced and you are not subjected to the 1/4 cup of sugar that is in the can of coke...or more.
So ask your doc about V8
And you should have a follow up sodium check.
