do you have any other medical problems?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
one other symptom, wake up with night sweats almost every night for the last month or so, the stabbing pains in armpit and neck started a couple of weeks ago roughly, not aware of any other problems or symptoms

any exam or workup?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

not yet, just trying to get some information about what this might be first

Expert:  DrRussMD replied 6 years ago.
most likely muscular
sweats can be drug effect, anxiety
but you need to have your thyroid function checked per blood test
An EKG but this is not typical of heart pain and you are young for that. however the shortness of breath and pain warrant this.

You don't have symptoms of this but you should be up to date on TB testing.

But most likely
muscular pain

rule out heart pain
rule out causes of muscular pain such as problems with the neck, shoulder, etc.
an MRI of the neck if indicated by exam.
Consider panic attacks.

good luck

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
the pain is always in right armpit and when it has subsided, instantly and not gradually i feel a little dizzy afterwards and is there a possibility it could be something more serious like lymphoma?
Expert:  DrRussMD replied 6 years ago.
no node like lymphoma
but heart disease is very serious
lymphoma would have definite indications on labs and would be easy to rule out
routine labs
so have the exam
good luck again
