You might try doing a slightly different solution
use 1/4 teaspoon sea salt to 1 cup of boiled water brought to body temperature.
Use a neti pot or a hand cupped, or a cup with a spout.
Try to rinse the solution all the way back to the throat and spit it out, and use this to do a sort of reverse hawk into the throat to spit out.
The salt solution might have more effect.
If not you are going to have to see
ENT, but this might wash out.
