How did it start?

How much bleeding was there?

Do you take any medicine?

Do you have any other symptom or previous illness?

Thank you.

Thank you for the information,

The blood can come due to a few factors.

It can be that you scratched it which you were unaware.

Or it can be due to a bite or injury from other cause.

The feeling of something running in the ear can be due to dribbling of blood or any moving insect.

Infection , rupture of drum can also cause blood to appear.

But there should be a history & pain before.

When the bleeding is still persisting, you need to get it checked by doctor.

Till then do not put anything or Q tip inside.

Treatment will depend on cause.

At this moment no medicine will be helpful.

If any blood comes out just wipe it clean.

If the bleeding continues, you need to go to ER.

Otherwise you can take a consultation with an ENT specialist or your doctor tomorrow.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

Best wishes.

Thank you...I just remembered... have had a low ringing in my ears for a week or two...have it now...

When you had ringing in the ears, there can be ear infection.

If the bleeding stops now, you have to consult an ENT specialist to have a detailed examination of the ear.
