Dear customer,
Welcome to Just Answer.Reddening of feet and itching after a bath would be secondary to Cholinergic Urticaria. This is caused by raised temperatures causing release of histamine which causes reddening, ives and itching which may last for 30minutes to 2-3 hours.Diseases which need to be ruled out would include Psoriasis,Polycythemia vera,Atopic dermatitis and Sweat Allergy.Allergy to the soap used would cause more generalised rash.Avoiding hot baths, using lukewarm water, avoiding scrubbing hard while drying, use of sedating antihistaminics like Benadryl/Atarax,nonsedating antihistaminics like Allegra/Claritin will help, steroids orally or locallyemmollients and moisturisrs aftera bath may help. You need to discuss thew matter with your doctor to find the exact cause. You may need to see as Dermatologist if this persists.
