Taking a double dose of blood pressure medicine is usually not a concern. Our body can usually tolerate several times the normal dose of blood pressure medications without any significant adverse effects. You can take your tomorrow's dose as normal. Monitor your symptoms if any, and if you have any dizziness etc, see your doctor for examination.

My pulse pressure is 48 125/78 now. If my pressure drops below a norm what is

that below norm for concern?

Expert:  Dr Singh replied 6 years ago.

It would be a concern if it drops below 90/60, or you have symptoms such as dizziness, palpitations etc.

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

At that point should I call for emergency help? I am on Lisinopril 40 mg.

Expert:  Dr Singh replied 6 years ago.

Yes, at that point you should go to the ER or call 911.
