Hello, Welcome to justanswer and thank you for your question.

Well, the average systolic blood pressure at 68 years should be-
Diastolic -87.

And the minimum range should be-
Systolic- 121
Diastolic- 83.

His blood pressure- 124/82 mm of Hg is completely normal. No need to worry.
The normal pulse for healthy person ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute. He is having 77 per minute, this is also normal. He is having healthy pulse rate and good blood pressure.

Hope this helps.

what would you like to know

I understand your concern.
He may be having anxiety issue which can result in fluctuation in blood pressure readings.
He should get- EKG, Echo-cardiogram, Exercise stress test. Also chest X-ray can be done.

Do make an appointment with doctor, for evaluation, and get complete clinical checkup. He should go for DASH EATING PLAN for managing blood pressure.
