I can understand your anxiety.
Needlestick injuries have the potential of transferring bacteria, protozoa and viruses. After a needlestick injury, to minimize the risk of infection for the recipient the affected area should be rinsed and washed thoroughly with soap and water. Although I am not concerned for hepatitis but care needs to be taken for local infection at the site of injury. If you see swelling/ fever than you will need medical help/ antibiotics to get rid of infection.
Please do not worry, you are fine. God bless
