Gradual onset of right sided chest pain, worse with inspiration, short of breath started approx 2 weeks ago.

How long are you having this?

Did you have any test or treatment?

Do you have any other symptom or previous illness?

Thank you.

Pain approx 2 weeks now, no tests or treatment yet. Pain with movement, painful to breath progressively getting worse. No previous chest or lung related problems.
Thank you for the information,

The pain in the right side of the chest which worsens with inspiration can be due to musculoskeletal in origin.

Other common possibility can be pleuritis or inflammation of the lungs covering.

Rarely heart pain can occur in the right side but it should not increase with inspiration.

Among other causes, liver and gall bladder pain can be felt in this area.

You can try motrin to check whether it helps.
When the pain is persisting for 2 weeks, you have to consult doctor for examination and investigations to find out the cause and treatment as it is necessary.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

Best wishes.
