Will my Medicare Part B cover IV infusions of Gamunex for CIDP

Resolved Question:

Will my Medicare Part B cover IV infusions of Gamunex for CIDP? And if so, does it cover 100% both the drug and the nurse who administers it? And at home or only at my hospital infusion center. I live in Falmouth, Mass.

My understanding is that this should be covered by Medicare Part B for CIDP, but only in a physician's office or hospital infusion center, not at your home.

I would , however, suggest that you confirm that you will be covered by calling Medicare, so that you don't get any unexpected bills.

Good luck.
