Are cucumber pickles and also sauerkraut bad for gout?

are cucumber pickles and also sauerkraut bad for gout?
Hello NO
This conception comes from the idea that acid in the system aggravates gout
There are those who promote an alkaline or non acid diet for gout.
As it turns out, sauerkraut and pickles are quite alkaline in the system and to not general acid.
Anything in excess that is so salty though would not be good for health.

Excess animal protein breaks down into substances which are thought to aggravate gout, they also create an acidic state in the system compared to a vegetarian diet.

Good luck
