Hello

Dr.Tharun :

Since when you are having this problem? Any breathing difficulty ? Any fever ,cough?

Dr.Tharun :

Any recent trauma or heavy exercising or work?

Dr.Tharun :

Any swelling or redness in the region where it hurts?

Customer:

Yesterday had been digging a garden which was quite heavy No redness or swelling

Dr.Tharun :

Does it hurt to touch or press that area/

Customer:

started having this problem about hour after having our meal this evening

Customer:

no not much just when I take a deep breath

Dr.Tharun :

It could be a sore chest muscle or rib joint due to the heavy gardening you did.Usually movements would aggravate the pain.Another cause could be abdominal problem as it started after meals , which could indicate a gall bladder problem which can hurt in the right upper abdomen.

Dr.Tharun :

Chest infection with pain is rare without fever and cough and sputum.

Customer:

pain on right side could it be any heart problems ?

Dr.Tharun :

Usually heart conditions manifest on the left side and rarely on the right.

Customer:

my understanding this was the case but always have the fear with any chest pain

Dr.Tharun :

You can take anti-inflammatory like advil or motrin to see if it helps.Take adequate rest and keep yourself hydrated. If the pain persists see your doctor .

Customer:

thank you for this it puts my mind at rest

Dr.Tharun :

I believe you have no cough or fever?

Dr.Tharun :

You are welcome

Customer:

no have none of these just right sided pain after deep breaths

Dr.Tharun :

OK , just making sure there are no signs of infection.

Customer:

thank you so if this was on the left side it would be a different ball game?

Dr.Tharun :

May be.Its difficult to predict .

Dr.Tharun :

But heart symptoms like left arm pain, jaw pain and pain on working or walking would be ruled out.

Customer:

Thank you for your answers I just hope its down to digging yesterday

Dr.Tharun :

You are welcome.
