Well, the normal heart rate for healthy person ranges from 60 to 100 beats per minute.

Also to mention that, it may fluctuate and increase with exercise, illness, injury, and emotions.

In your case, the possible cause are- Smoking,Heavy caffeine consumption, Thyroid hormone imbalance, Imbalance of electrolytes, mineral in body.

You need to undergo blood tests - Complete blood count, Thyroid test, Blood sugar test to evaluate the cause, and accordingly management will be advised. Dizziness and headache are also associated with underlying disease.

For the time, you can take Tab. Dimenhydrinate(Dramamine) for dizziness...It is OTC drug. Avoid stress and anxiety issues. Practice Yoga and meditation for relaxation.

Drink plenty of fluids, and take good 8 hours sleep.

Good luck and take care

Doctor: Dr. Robert, Doctor replied 8 years ago
I am sorry for your sufferings.
Most likely it is related with Hormonal issue. You need to get - Thyroid hormone test. Also EKG should be done.
Please make an appointment with Endocrinologist.

Dear *****

I am a different expert as the previous expert has opted out.

Celexa and Ativan are different types of medicines and are not similar.Celexa is an anti depressant while Ativan is an anxiolytic.

Your symptoms can be due to neurological, cardiac or endocrinological causes and you need to see specialists in these three specialties one by one.I suggest that you should see a cardiologist to start with even if EKG is normal as sometimes a simple EKG is unable to pick abnormal function of heart.More advanced testing may be required like Echocardiography etc...

If you are cleared from cardiology side a neurologists opinion should be sought. Here also more advanced testing like EEG or MRI of brain may be required.

If you are cleared from neurology too , endocrinologists opinion is required.

Hello from JA
While I respect the other experts answers to your basic situation; you need more detail in terms of information.
Seeing a bunch of specializist because your symptoms might be this or that is not really a very effective approach; there needs to be a working diagnosis, or differential diagnoses.
Fast heart rate, dizziness and low blood pressure on standing, first and foremost, imply a cardiac arrhythmia, such as a super ventricular tachycardia. This can be intermittent. The low blood pressure on standing is called orthostatic hypotension and we see it in dehydration, but it can also be due to problems with the heart pump, such as arrhtymia.
The first test you need, and your GP can even order it, is a 24 hour holter monitor. This will monitor your heart tracing for 24 hours. Even better would be a device called a king of hearts where you can activate it when you have symptoms. Sudden drops in blood pressure can also cause head pain, by the way.
Help your GP tie all of the symptoms together. You have had a thyroid test which was normal. This set of symptoms could be related to an adrenal problem, but this is less likely.
A neurologist would look for problems with the brain or nervous system, but you have already had some work up in this area.
Since the symptoms tie together as a possible arrythimia, and since this could be serious, this would be the logical starting point, with the specific tests I've mentioned.
Good Luck

Hi

You should see a cardiologist first as myself and the other expert has pointed out.

Doctor: DrRussMD, Board Certified Physician replied 8 years ago
Actually, your primary care physician can order the holter. The lab will hook you up, then you bring it back the next day. A cardiologist will read it so see if there is a problem Same with the King of Hearts device.
Good Luck
