sma;ll red spots 1 to 3 cm, no pain, occurs on both legs, upper & lower medial, have occured in the past, lasting 5 to 7 days & then fade away withput treatment, I have no medical conditions that I am aware of & not taking any medications

Well, it's hard to give you just one diagnosis. It could be a contact dermatitis or allergic reaction that can be treated with antihistamines. If it lasted longer, it could be a sign of an autoimmune disorder or an infectious process like Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Lyme disease, even meningitis or syphilis, but I doubt any of those without other symptoms. Even though I think it isn't serious, you should let a doctor take a look at it.
