VerifiedHello- you are asking about anemia which is when someone has low blood counts or low red blood cells.
The symptoms of anemia include: pale skin, weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, palpitations (heart beating irregularly or fast), dizziness, fainting, feeling cold. If she has any of these symptoms, or is she appears to be worsening, you should have her seen perhaps at the ER or by another doctor at the clinic tomorrow. If she has any emergency symptoms (like chest pain) she should be seen immediately in the ER.
The anemia can be dangerous because it can lead to problems such as heart attack if the anemia is severe. Since she already has high risk for this (as she has had one in the past) she is especially at risk for another heart attack if her blood level gets too low.
She should definitely be careful not to get to less than Hemoglobin of 10 or so. It is best to find the reason for blood loss, but that can be a complicated task and it sounds like her doctor is trying to find this reason. She may need to see a hematologist if they still can't find the reason soon. In the meantime, she needs to be on iron and get monitored regularly in case her levels drop too low.

The lasix can cause electrolyte imbalances and this can cause shakiness. She could also be too dehydrated from the lasix. I do think it is best for her to get checked tomorrow just to make sure that there is not something more urgent to deal with before Monday. If her labs are sent so that the results are known by the end of the day, one of the doctors can contact her if there is a major problem. She sounds like her case is complicated enough that it is better to be safe and get her seen sooner rather than later.
