My doctor says adequate treatment for my condition requires a four fold decrease in my blood levels. So if I my blood level is 64 should a four fold decrease equal to 4? (64>32>16>8>4)

Hello again, and thanks very much for your additional information.

Because your question deals with a medical condition and blood levels, I will request it be moved to our Medical category.

Best wishes,

Hello,

May I know what medical condition you are having and what medical test you mean? Do you have the recent levels for the same?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Honestly I would prefer not to. I don"t really know how confidential this information is and my email address is out there.

I thought this was just a simple math question/answer.

If it's going to be an issue I'd rather just stop all together.

I hope you understand.

Hello,

I can understand and respect your feelings.

Well four fold increase means four times as great as the original. So if the dose is say 5 mg than four fold increase will mean 20 mg. Same way if dose is 100 mg than four fold decrease means 25 mg.

Wish you well. God bless
