Should i stop taking plavix before a heart catheterization

The answer is no you should not stop your plavix. While it does slightly increase bleeding, most cardiologists do not stop plavix as it improves outcomes and results, especially if a stent is placed.

This instruction is usually given by your cardiologist so I would confirm with him, but that is standard.
