You need to see a doctor to get herpes zoster also called shingles ruled out as distribution of pain as well as appearance of blisters points toward this.
If treated early you can have a less painful and lesser duration of disease.
The only point which goes against this diagnosis is pain on other side as this is usually unilateral that is on one side only but still the description seems classical.
