Hi, my name is***** and I would like to try and help you.

Did you have a cystoscopy where they placed a scope through your penis into your bladder, or just test the urine itself?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Just a urine test

It is not very specific in terms of diagnosis. The best way to determine if there is any bladder cancer is with a cystoscopy.

You can get atypical cells and blood in the urine from inflammation/infection.

What is a cystoscopy?

This is a test in which a skinny fiberoptic camera is placed through the penis into the bladder and biopsies can be taken.

It is done under light anesthesia and is very well tolerated.
