Since how long?In which part of spine?Any other symp***** *****ke pain? Any past illness? Any test ? Any treatment taken?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.

6 months-after lifting many hay bales and staining our concrete driveway---my lower

spine and I have left side muscle pain as well-I also think I added to the problem when I worked out with weights. An Xray taken in late October was normal but it still pops

in a few places when I change positions. It really doesn't hurt-just a weird noise.

Thank you for the input.

The popping sound can be due to osteoarthritis of the spine, laxity of facet joints or ligaments. The laxity of ligaments can cause the joints to move making the sound. This in itself is not worrying. However,as it is going on , you can get a consultation with an orthopedic doctor for examination. MRI scan can help to localize the problem.
