Can the human body reject surgical screws used to repair

Resolved Question:

can the human body reject surgical screws used to repair fractured bones ? or can an allergic reaction occur from these screws ? I have been feeling soreness in the area i had the screws put in. had the surgery in Sept of 2008.

In fact these metal implants/screws are not rejected,they dont react or activate human immune system,and are very safe as far as rejection is concerned.

However what you need to know is that infection does occur in these implants and most of the time the infection occurs in early post operative period,

Late onset infection can occur in some cases where you have some focus of infection causing bacteremia,and the sign symptoms include,
