i have a red spot at the end of my nose - not like a pimple - been there a few months - won't go away. How can i safely get rid of it?

it is not sore and it is fairly smooth to touch.

This red spot may be pigmented lesion ( a type of lwntigo).

You can try tretinoin cream 0.05% to remove this spot.

You need to use for atleast 3 months.

Otherwise, the easiest way to remove it is by cryosurgery or laser resurfacing.

my instinct is telling me this is a form of sun damage to the skin which i don't want to get worse. i have a fair complexion and i play a fair amount of golf - tho' I cover up with suncream you can't avoid getting some damage..

is that cream available without prescription (i can check online obviously)?

many thanks for your help!

This is a prescription meds.

But, you can easily get it online without prescription.

Tretinoin helps to repair the damaged skin.
