Hello,

welcome to just answer.

Since when do you have this smell?

Any other complaints apart from this?

Are you suffering from any medical condition or on any medication?

Thank you

Thank you for the information.

You have what is called phantosmia. In phantosmia there is no smell but you can smell abnormally.

It can be a local nasal problem disturbing smell receptors of the nose like sinusitis , allergy or rhinitis causing inflammation of nasal membrane.

There are certain psychiatric causes too.In your case though as you have a history of sinusitis this seems more likely .

I would suggest that you get this checked by your doctor. Thus once the cause is determined it can be treated and thus will help you get rid of this for good.

I hope this answers your question .
