Resolved Question:

Hi, you may know the answer to my question. I just received the depo-provera shot today and the nurse told me to use a condom along with it for the first five days. Do I need to use one after that in case my fiance doesnt pull out fast enough? Or is it ok for him to stay in?

The authoratative reference book I checked to confirm my memory states that condoms are needed for the first SEVEN (not 5) days after the shot. After that the shot will be effective in preventing pregnancy all by itself; there would not be any need for him to pull out.
